SAMBICA’s resident camps provide a traditional overnight camp experience. Campers will be excited about spending a week away from home while parents have the peace of mind knowing that SAMBICA is close by. Campers return home with new memories, friends, and greater self-confidence. Resident camp is offered for two age levels; Young Teen Resident Camp for entering 7th -9th grade and Junior Resident Camp for 4th -6th grade.

Resident campers will experience all of camps activities including: swimming, water toys, boating (with the option to tube, wakeboard, water ski, or kneeboard) team building, group games, archery, mini golf, inflatables, field games, nature walk and more including a new ropes course for 2010! In the evening special games and events are scheduled.  Each session includes a special youth speaker and Bible studies that are focused on relevant issues. Thursday presents a special evening with an outdoor barbeque, carnival and campfire.

Parents' Program/ Pick Up
The Resident Camp Parents’ Program takes place on Friday from 7:00 - 7:45 pm in the Jepson Forum. Parking is available in the upper field.  This is not only a time to pick up your child, but to hear a recap of the week at camp, to see the camp DVD for that week, and to fellowship with your camper's counselor. There will be an opportunity to get a refund or donate your camper's remaining store money, pick up a camp DVD, and pick up any leftover medications from the Camp Medic. Campers will also receive a parent packet which includes their camp picture and photo CD (if purchased) and other important camp information. All campers must be picked up by the end of the Parents' Program.

Special Schedules
If your child needs to miss any portion of their camp session, please notify the main office of your schedule conflicts as soon as possible. Notifying your child’s counselor of early pick up times will not ensure your child will be ready when you arrive; please call the main office at (425) 746-9110. Campers that miss a portion of the camp program will not be able to make up missed activities. Should you schedule a pick up for your child in the middle of an activity, they may need to miss the entire activity. In fairness to other campers, boats will not be brought back before the scheduled end time of each activity block. Please check with our office manager concerning the best time to pick up your child if they must leave early.
