We are continuing to adapt this program as the school district adjust their school plans for the fall and beyond.
How long is this program going to be offered?
As of August 2020 we plan to run the School Day Program for the 2020 -2021 school year, understanding that it may look different each semester.
How much academic support will my child receive?
We will provide supervision and support to keep your camper on track but they will be responsible for completing their work and following their teachers directions independently.
Engage. Grow. Play.
Now more than ever kids need meaningful spaces to get out, play, and socialize. The SAMBICA School Day Program pairs perfectly with SAMBICA's "After School" Program - SAMBICA Afternoons. Find more information HERE.
Safety is our top priority. Rest assured that when you drop your camper off at SAMBICA, our staff will work around-the-clock to ensure safety in activities, during work times, and with each other. Each camper will have their own space social distanced from other campers during work time and will adhere to all health and safety guidelines. SAMBICA follows current King County COVID-19 Guidelines and Restrictions.
Not only is this program designed to help campers thrive in their school work, but it also provides a space for campers to engage in meaningful social interactions between their peers and staff members.
Childhood is a vital time to ask the Big Questions and explore faith. We give campers a space to do just that. Because SAMBICA's vision is to inspire youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ, each day will include an element of interactive bible study, making space for campers to ask questions and share their thoughts.
Every child deserves to experience camp. Given on a first-come, first-served basis, scholarships will generally make up 50% or less of camp fees. Please complete the SAMBICA Scholarship Application to be considered.
